Achim Dünnwald is the CEO for DHL Parcel (German and European parcels business) and a Member of the Management Board in the Business Unit PeP (Post – eCommerce – Parcel) of Deutsche Post DHL Group. Prior to this, Achim Dünnwald was CEO Mail Communication, Mail International.
Before joining DPDHL Group in 2013, Achim Dünnwald worked at McKinsey & Company for 12 years, where he was a Partner, Member of the German Management Board and Head of the global Post, Express and Parcel-Industry Group. He started his career heading the Bonn office for a member of the German Bundestag.
He received his PhD in History, Political Science and Literature from the University of Bonn, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
